Finally got the camper I’ve had my eye on for a while. It’s a 1979 VW Camper Type 2 with the bay front. It’s already had loads done to it. Lowered suspension and new wheels, new interior with rock n roll bed setup. It has a good stereo and leather front seats.

I have already added 2 new batteries and installed a solar panel to trickle charge them up during the daytime. I have remove the ‘bra’ from the front of the camper to reveal the lovely paintwork. Looking much nicer already.

I want to complete a few things before next summer. Better headlights and sidelights as driving at night has been a nightmare. I have ordered a full set of curtains for the windows and ipod compatable stereo will be required too. It will need a service in due course with the probable replacement of the CV joints.
