This weekend I went to the F1 Grand Prix at Spa in Belgium. Myself and Paul travelled on the EuroTunnel to France and drove to Belgium. A journey that took about 6 hours.
We stayed at the F1 Campsite in Lodonez near Stavelot. Belgium is a beautiful country very under-rated and missed by many people including myself.
On the Saturday, we watched the Porsche Supercup, GP2 Series Feature Race and the Formula 1 qualifying.
As we had pit passes we could walk around backstage snapping photos of the drivers and the cars. We also stood at the pitwall during the Porsche Supercup qualification session too.
The GP2 Series sessions used Pit 2 to get ready for the race before driving the Pit 1 to start the race. We watched the cars getting prepared for the both races and the Saturday and Sunday.

The Formula One races all prepared in Pit 1, an area we weren’t allowed so we didn’t get to watched them. We headed out into the crowds to watch the race for the stands.
It was a great weekend although very tiring.
