Wherever I go, photography is major part of my life. I always take a camera with me, whether it's an iPhone, video camera or a DSLR. I have no real agenda when taking pictures, only to observe my surroundings and capture it as best I can. I have a great passion for nature and birdlife but am happy to shoot coastal, urban and rural landscapes plus interiors of church and other architectural structures too. My photoblog is a diary of my projects and assignments over the last few years. Why not take a look. Read my photo blog.
About Neil Smith
Based in the home counties of England, I live on the Hertfordshire / Bedfordshire border with my wife and young son. Although my work life is predominantly online web services, my passion is photography.
I grew up frustrated with film process costs, so when 'digital' hit the mass consumer market, I was a convert and have upgraded as much as possible every few years.
I am Nikon. I like to use a select number of tools to create my images. Nikon and Sigma lenses, Sandisk media, Adobe software, Manfrotto tripods and Tamrac bags.
I like to explore and exploit the rich new technologies of the internet and digital image stock libraries to generate revenue. I have many clients who use my photographic services for their businesses and personal family needs and I'm looking for more interesting and challenging assignments.
